Fortun's Kitchen + Bar

This place gets crowded during high season, so a reservation is a requirement from Thanksgiving through April. Very eclectic menu serving brick oven pizza to a Rose Abalone and Lobster plate (which was a rare treat!). I’m working my way through the extensive menus (both bar and restaurant) and haven’t found a clunker yet. The Diver Scallops over lightly fried Risotto was so good, my wife kept stealing forkfuls. The Mahi Mahi, when it’s on the menu is outstanding. Wide selection of meats and chicken. Can be noisy when it’s full. My wife and I mitigate the noise when just the two of us go by sitting side by side at the bar on very comfy stools. Nice outdoor dining area as well. Service has always been excellent!

Excellent ...good location in La Quinta 's old town. ....Lovely welcome, great ambiance, good menu and great tasting food. Best we've had in the area. Definately worth a visit(or maybe 2) if you're in the area.

The food is amazing. Everyone I was with thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. The atmosphere is really great too.

Awesome experience upstairs in the new dining area. Food was on point as well was the service. Waiter (Fernando?) seemed to need assistance at times when it got busy. He did a great job and kept us entertained and happy. We will definitely be back. The upstairs was a great use of space. A+ experience

Went for dinner. Sat on the patio. It was warm and sunny. The atmosphere was great. Our waitress Ashley, was polite and quick to help and answer questions. The drinks we had were well made. We had pizza to start and then we ordered entrees. Reasonably priced food and drinks. It was a pretty relaxing dinner with a good atmosphere.
