    A little bit of France in La Quinta Ca. Tables elegantly set with fresh flowers, good bistro sized silverware and crockery.
    Food is superb. Today I had a vegetarian quiche and it was the way a quiche is supposed to be- lite, flaky pastry crust, a smooth custard filling, and a delicious little house salad with a classic french vinaigrette dressing. The star of today's show was the desert, an Apple Tartine, served with a scoop of gelato and whipped cream.
    Staff is friendly, knowledgeable of menu. Place is casual, comfortable, but little touches of elegance that make it fun.
    And of course a great wine list!
    We try to dine here once a month.

    The couple who own and run the place are terrific hosts with a passion for authentic food from their native France.

    Delicious drinks, fabulous wine and such a wonderful meal. The chicken is moist, flavorful and falls off the bone. We chatted with the husband and he couldn't have been a better host. This place is a gem and we will return repeatedly. One surprise was the number of people picking up take-out dinners to serve for friends and family.

    French food, awesome. Definitely one of the best places in the area. The place has an awesome feel to it. Food is similar to a place in San Francisco I loved.
