Our families live in two different directions about 2 hours apart. This is a convenient 1 hour in the middle. they can accommodate anywhere from two of us all the way up to 25 of us in the back room. Which is very convenient for more family get-togethers.
The staff is friendly, courteous & helpful. The food was good. The pot roast that I ate and the steaks that some of the other family had were fabulous very tender & easy to cut. My grandchildren enjoyed all of the vegetables that were there. Salad bar was very good all kinds of ingredients. A little high in salt content.
Just had a great meal at the Golden Corral in Lake Elsinore, CA. The hostess was great. Smiley and bubbly personality. She greeted us and helped us get our drinks to our seats. Our server Marlene was a hit in our section. The food was hot and plentiful. Lots of foods to choose from. A salad bar section. Comfort foods with a Southern flair. Mexican food that had all the right spices, and Chinese food. The dessert bar had something for everyone. We will definitely be coming back.
Food is good and fresh with plenty of choices. They'll make you custom omlettes and cook your bacon more if you ask. It can get busy at dinner time and the prime rib is great sliced the way you like. It is slow during breakfast hours on weekends. We like coming with the family.
My family and like to come here because they have a great selection of items. The buffet is well kept and pretty organized. The staff is friendly and we appreciated the kitchen staff very much because they were quick on their feet and made sure that all food trays were full for the most part. The low points were that we had to wait a little bit because they ran out of silverware and the tables were a bit messy. Also our waitress was nice but she took an extremely long time just to refill our drinks and we had dirty plates stacking up at our table because she wasn't consistently coming back to pick up our plates. It was the end of her shift and she wanted to go home, poor soul, but just a friendly reminder that you still have people waiting for you. I guess the question is "who really is the waiter?" The customer or the employee who is supposed to pick your plates up, refill your drinks and assist you?. But overall, the place has a nice atmosphere and we had a great time!
