I lived in the south for many years and I've been waiting to have a good soul food place again FOR years. Ordered the Fried Catfish and was beyond satisfied, it was way better than what I had been hoping it would be. I'd recommend this place to anyone who hasn't experienced soul food before, and to anyone looking to experience it again!

I order the 2 piece meal with Yams and mac and cheese. I got blackened Salmon and grill shrimp. The Salmon was very good. The Shrimp was warm like it was reheated but still good. I just got braces in so I said need soft food which all was but one piece of Yam was hard when bite into. If not for warm shrimp and hard Yam I give a 5 star. Staff was nice and helpful.

Great Food! And Great Customer Service! I’m Here In Cali For Work! I Have Been Here For Almost 3 Months I’m From Chicago And I Haven’t Found No Food Like Back At Home Yet Until I Stopped Here During A Quick Mall Run. It Took About 30 Minutes To Get My Food Not Bad But The Young Lady Cooking Threw Me In Some Extra Wings For Waiting A While. It Was Definitely Worth The Wait! Wings Have Such Good Flavor Yams Good And Macaroni Was Ok And This Strawberry Lemonade With Strawberries In It Is The Bomb! I Forgot To Take A Picture But I Definitely Will Next Time! This Is My Gone Be My New Spot While I’m Here Working! Very Friendly Staff! So Many Bad Reviews I Seen And Honestly I Probably Wouldn’t Have Even Tried It Out Had I Read The Reviews First But I’m Glad That Wasn’t The Case Cause My Food Was Avery Good. Give Them A Break They Seem Fairly New Of Course It Will Take Time For Everything To Be Perfect. Black Owned Business With Professionalism I Love To See It! One Thing I Do Recommend Is Staff Handling Food Change Gloves More Often After Touching Certain Things Such As The Door Going To The Back Other Then That Great Job Guys!!!!
