I really couldn't even figure out what is on the menu. If I had a grasp of the language, I'm sure I could have more selections. Even though the food was good, it's unlikely I'd return. “Today was my first visit to Black Bear Diner. I went in between 2 - 4 p.m. it was a delightful experience and the Hostess and Waitress was knowledgeable of the diner and the menu. I ordered the Grilled Taco Salad with a side of there homemade Bacon Ranch Dressing, and one single pancake that was made with sweet cream. The pancake came with whipped butter and warm syrup that I didn't even have to ask for because other places you have to ask for warm syrup. I also received a same of the fresh squeezed orange juice they make every morning. That orange juice is better than anything that comes from a can, bottle, carton, or jug and I highly recommend it. The food was good and my salad could feed three people, needless to say, I have leftovers that will be great for dinner. They serve all meals on the menu throughout the day and I even enjoyed reading the Black Bear Gazette while waiting for my meal to arrive. If your not sure if you want to eat here, just go for the fresh squeezed OJ, that alone will bring you back. I am an actual customer, not an employee. Pictures are attached!”

There is an excellent selection of cuts for steaks and all food combinations are great! There service is excellent. “The food is always good and the staff is always nice and attentive. This has been my family's main breakfast place for the last 8 or so years and I have never had a bad experience here. The best thing on the menu to me is the french toast. They must do something special to it because it really is good. They have a lot of other great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options on their menu. This is a great little dinner that has reasonable prices, good quality food, good portions, and good service.”

“I go to this Denny’s very frequently with my family. The service you get truly depends on when you go and if you happen to get a good staff. Some of the staff are consistently nice and others are not as much. Sometimes (even if it’s not busy) I’ve gotten forgotten almost completely and waited 30+ minutes to ask for water. Other times the food comes out quick and the waiters are good. Very hit or miss.”

The food is still very good but you have to be willing to wait a long time for your food. A lot of times there is one lady doing both the drive through and the front counter. I suspect there's only one person making food. Last time I sat in the drive through about 20inutes waiting for my food. The wait inside is even longer. This place does have good food and it's nice that it's a local business. You have to have a lot of time to wait for you food if you go here.”
