Reading Cinemas at Cal Oaks Plaza with TITAN LUXE

I cant imagine life without our Reading Cinema. Buy your ticket online, get there early for popcorn, food or wine and beer then head for your preselected comfy easy chair. It's like sitting in your living room! They even have waiters at each show in case you don't want to wait in the concession line. Be sure to turn off your cell phone and remember it's really NOT your living room so NO talking????

My husband and I always go here! The theatre is very clean as well as the bathrooms. The food is good, a little pricey though.

Spotlight is a good choice because it is a smaller theatre. However, a small negative is that there is an automatic 18% tip given and they don’t properly state that. So people will tip double on their purchase because they don’t really make that well known. But, as you leave or if you go out to the lobby, if you have spotlight tickets that day, you can get 50% off of a dessert.

The staff is always nice and attentive.

Overall nice experience with the family. We get the Spotlight Service because we got spoiled the first time. I recommend the Date Night item on their menu, I believe it's called. You get an appetizer (preview), 2 entrees (main feature), and a dessert. The nachos are perfect for sharing, the burgers are big. and the strawberry shortcake is delicious! Ordering is just like table service, but inside the theater. Your order is taken, you pay, and the staff serves your food before the movie starts. Did I mention they offer brunch and alcoholic beverages? Yes, they do.

Good variety of food choices and excellent quality. Nice customer service. Awesome recliner seats and plenty of aisle space. Should be 5-stars, but I've got two gripes: 1. Excessive charge when ordering tickets (reserved seating) online and 2) when ordering food from servers at your seat (not all screens have this), a 18% gratuity is automatically added to the AFTER TAX price--naughty, naughty. I didn't notice this on my first time ordering, so my total tip was very high (ha--good for the server, though!)

Their chairs were so comfortable I could have slept there and missed the whole movie. They have tables as well, a bar. They made this theater so much better then how it use to be. Best for date night and adults who want to get away from the kiddos for a night.
