Castelli's

Food was excellent. Waiters were excellent. The host as well as a lot of the guests and management had a very entitled attitude. Acted like us having a baby was this huge inconvenience. Also over heard them saying that they are happy that the Stagecoach crowd (country music festival) stays away. In our 30s we were the youngest couple in the restaurant by a few decades. If you can get over the snootiness, the food is 5 stars.

Service was excellent. The person making the reservations did a great job of getting us in even though they said it was going to be a little bit later. The entertainment was good it was nice easy listening while we ate. I enjoyed the salmon which was one of the best I've ever had and the fettuccine alfredo was good. The atmosphere was very nice it was cozy and a nice hum of people enjoying themselves.

Castelli's has some amazing American-style Italian food. There's an extensive and eclectic menu with some appetizers and entrees worth going back a second night for. And we did. Dijon shrimp, escargot--two amazing starters. The chicken dishes, and the pesto gnocchi were outstanding. Really cool old-world italian ambience.

This place never disappoints. The piano player is a true talent and asset to Castellis....we had a table very close to the piano. Our waiter (female )was amazing, she was able to make recommendations and knew the bar menu and wine. Michael at the bar is in his element, a real natural, people person who really cares about your dining experience. I don't need to tell you about the food, this restaurant has been in Palm Desert for more than 30 years, same location, that speaks for itself.

Such excellent food & service! They make you feel very welcome...part of the familia. Love the ambiance. We were so impressed, we hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner there. No disappointments!
