Kitchen 86 + Bar

Great service and attention from the owners/management. Location is the old (twice failed) Wolfgang Puck restaurants which has a nice decor and they were smart in not changing it.
CAUTION: Almost everything is spicy!!! It seems that's the trend because young people are used to that taste, and both young and older folks have lost taste buds and only recognize hot/spicy food.
That's too bad since I'm sure the chefs here are talented enough to prepare food with flavor.

We have a weekend place off the LA sale and decided to try the newest restaurant. Kitchen 86 + bar. The food drinks and ambience was very nice. We highly recommend the restaurant.

Only open 3 weeks now in the former Wolfgang Puck location on El Paseo. Place was totally packed. We were seated on time for our reservation (a must) or sit in the bar. Menu was simple yet very unique. Staff was well trained and very friendly. Boom boom shrimp came out quickly and what flavor. The Lamb was amazing but for something completely different try the Pasta made in the cheese wheel right in front of you.

so thrilled to have this fabulous restaurant in my 'hood. Terrific, authentic food, with a quiet, familial ambience. delighted that it's so close to home. the owners are wonderful people. MUST VISIT

Excellent food and great staff! I've been 3 times now and it keeps getting better. The Boom Boom Shrimp is life changing. The Chicken Curry is a must have. I fell in love with the Pasta Cheese Wheel dish and the burger! Best part is they serve food until 1:45am in a town that is near impossible to get a decent meal in after 9pm. Ask about their rosemary infused tequila. Fun to watch the process of how they make it. Loving the location on El Paseo with plenty of parking right out back. 10/10 recommendation.
