Castañedas Mexican Food

Used to be Santiago's... Liked better when it was .. miss the conga buritto, just ain't the same, even though they said all is not changed , only name, but it did change, even the fish tacos are different.., sorry I am for sure,, used to go every week, now not so much .

Everything's good here. It even has a great salsa bar.

The salsa bar is the best part. And you can ask for them via the drive thru window

The taquitos were fried beautifully crispy however the shrimp cocktail seem to have a lot of liquids and not a lot of shrimp. All in all $40 for the two of us we were well fed.

I had stopped at Castanedas Mexican Food to pick up two chicken tacos to eat at work. Just as I was opening the carry out food at the corner of my messy desk (a sign of genius), my wife unexpectedly walked into the office and suggested we go do lunch. I quickly offered to share what I had and she accepted. She pulled up a chair as I opened the hinged lid of the container that became my “plate” and her “plate” was the bottom section. These tacos were enormous, the ingredients overflowed the soft corn tortillas they were wrapped in. There was no way to eat these without hovering over your plate to catch the “crumbs”. The food was delicious and the intimacy made it a unique fun experience.
