I just love it here in Palm springs or palm desert they have different opinions like the one in Palm springs I love the chili and cheddar omelette and in Palm desert I love the machaca breakfast burrito great family environment

ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with large fries and water.

The way the restaurant handles it's customers is quick and easy. For example, after I ordered my food, they gave me a card with a number on it that you place on the table. Afterwards, the server drops off your food and picks up the card.

Simple.

The amount of time it takes for them to make the food and for the food to end up on your table is relatively small. I waited for about 3 -5 minutes for it and it came thoroughly cooked with everything I asked for, no problems at all.

The staff is nice and treat people with respect.

The restaurant itself had a very classic 70's -90's- vibe to it and made the place feel homey.

This was my first time eating but when I visit Palm desert, I will eat there again.

Food is great, staff is friendly. They almost give you the vibe that you’ve gone home (mom and dads) to eat. Go and enjoy.

John's Restaurant is consistent...good food, great menu. I take my very big family there when all in town, filling several tables, and fast hot good food. Friendly staff, refills in a timely manner, as good as it gets. Awesome fresh fruit plate.

Apparently the locals say this place has been here for over 50 years. Home town diner feel. You place your order at the counter, take a number and they bring your food to you. Very casual. The portions are big and satisfying. I ordered the California Omelette and I was impressed with how quickly they prepared the food.
