Had reservations for a grad party. Very very nice restaurant...reminds me of the restaurants around Santa Monica...cool comfortable vibe. Seating was a bit snug but we moved around some chairs to accommodate everyone and all were happy. The ambience is relaxing, sophisticated, sorta glam. Great for pictures because the lighting is bright. The food was delicious????... prepared the way we asked and the chef was funny and friendly. Our server was super accommodating. She gave us great service! We ended our celebration on the patio with cake, drinks and good conversation in a beautifully appointed outdoor patio with plenty of comfy seating, tables and stools for everyone. Thanks OOKA for making this day such a memorable time! -Wanda W
Finally! We have found a pretty good experience for sushi, super near our place. Fresh flavors (ooh that citrus yuzu is amazing). Well done with the portions as well. Thanks PA for making it happen.
Great customer service. Didn't have to wait for refills. Sushi tasted fresh. Tasty vegetarian and vegan options too. Will definitely be coming back.
Came here with my in-laws for a birthday luncheon with about 11-12 people. There wasn't any problem with the accommodation. However they do require that the whole party be present even if there is a reservation time. I thought that was a bit peculiar.
Anyhow, we sat at the hibachi grill. The grill master came out did a couple of tricks, said a couple of jokes, cooked the food then was out. He was decent. My wife and I ended up sharing a shrimp, steak and chicken combo with fried rice (extra $3) for about $55. I think is the best deal with plenty of food for leftovers. Especially because my wife doesn't eat much. Shrimp was a bit overcooked and rubbery, steak was slightly tender, chicken season was fair as well.
Service was not bad either, but not as snappy as some other hibachi places I've been. Parking is horrendous because it's in a marketplace and plaza. Parking is always busy during the weekend!
Overall a fair experience.
