Gram's BBQ

Walking by the kitchen back door, the hickory and BBQ aroma carried by the warm smoke, filling the air with mouth watering "Appetizing Agent. The host was welcoming, the chef was friendly and engaging. I sat outside, facing the sidewalks, I thought that was pleasant and entertaining, and much more interesting than sitting inside. Well, all that was besides the point. The "Holy Grail" that l was after, was the "BBQ chicken". A Southern specialty I used to enjoy greatly during my school years in Charlotte, NC. I was a part time, Master line cook at "Sony's Real Pitt BBQ" at that time. After a short wait, the meal was kindly served by the chef, with pleasant greeting n friendly face. I must say, the appearance, the smell and the flavor of the dinner plate did not meet my expectations, but the side BBQ sauce was good.

BBQ, so tasty. The bill was decent for the quality. Feeling here is similar to a cafe in San Jose I liked.

Been coming here for years. Food is excellent, staff is wonderful and very friendly. The manager Antwan is not only great at his job he is also an excellent chef!!! When I'm in the area, it's a must I stop in and grab a bite. I usually get the BBQ Ribs because they are EXTREMELY GOOD but today I tried the catfish lunch and it is hands down the best catfish I've had outside of me or my dad cooking it. I HIGHLY recommend Grams BBQ. They also have late night hours on Friday and Saturdays.

One of the few BBQ joints I've found in California that reminds me of the KC BBQ I'm use to! Smoked to perfection, seasoned well and not overpowered with sauce. Ribs were chunky and not too fatty. Greens were tender and were just the right amount of sweetness. Speaking of sweet. . .their sweet tea is ! Service was prompt and courteous! I will be eating here again!

Amazing BBQ! Tried the Pulled Pork sandwich and it was incredible! The staff was over the top friendly and remembered each customer’s name and came by the tables for a check in on their meal. Sample sides were given to me as a first time customer and a full explanation of the menu and favorites / pairings were recommended. Definitely will be back!!
