Gregory Joe has done it to me. I ordered a meal from him expecting it to taste like, really really good. But I’m sitting here eating and this food is beyond flawless. The shrimp and grits, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli!!! My god these flavors are literally perfect. I’m grateful that I’m here early in Gregory’s business, this boss is doing KILLER things right now. Absolutely amazing quality meal for an unbelievable price. HAVE I MENTIONED THE OREO CHEESECAKE?! Nothing in the world like it. Thank you so much, Greg’s Soul Kitchen. I’ll have 10 more please.

Being born and raised in Californian I’ve never had authentic soul food so when this establishment opened I was excited to finally get the chance to have some authentic soul food. Let me tell you it was delicious Greg was such a nice guy, good service and good food. He even made crab cakes taste good to me and I normally don’t like sea food at all. Everything was good from the appetizers to the main meal to the dessert. I had a slice of cheesecake for myself and one for my mom I left part of my cheesecake in the container to eat later and found my mom and step dad finish both my moms slice and my left over slice cz it was “really good” (their words). I highly recommend Greg’s Soul Food he’s doing a good job Southernizing Cali.
