Decided to come here when a friend came to visit from LA. We've had plenty of birria growing up in South Central. I had seen this establishment for a couple of months but waited to taste it. I was so stoked the second I bit into one of their quesabirria tacos. Tasted like home. Alex greeted us as soon as we walked in, and the aroma of slow cooked birria was immense. The meat was tender and flavorful. The tacos were crispy and nicely cooked. The consume was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. I felt nostalgic grubbing down on these tacos. I definitely recommend it.
Had a Great Carne Asada Torta today. Meat was Juicy and cooked To perfection. Hard to find good Carne Asada in San Jacinto or Hemet. This place has a San Diego taco shop vibe. Goody good, Taquitos were good too. Can't wait to try all of the Menu. When the Carne Asada is Good, you at the right Spot. Kinda like all The Berto's In SD. HOLLA BACK!!
Great food for a great price. This was our first time trying it, and we will definitely be back to try more items. I ordered the taco plate; the tacos and the beans were amazing. The rice had good flavor but was a bit too on the mush side for my liking. Also, the burrito was a bit smaller than expected, I definitely wouldn't mind paying a few more dollars for a larger one. The frozen horchata is now one of my new favorite drinks! Definitely recommend this place!
I'm very critical about my tacos. Let's start with the location, great atmosphere it's a bit small in there with seating for like 15 -20. You get to watch your food come together. Food, tacos- the seasoning is on point tacos come with salsa cilantro and onion. But the tortilla on my taco liking has to have the right amount of Manteca while heating the tortilla gives it flavor and stability to the taco. Lengua was my go to. Nachos were perfect crispy chips and enough to fill you up. I'll go back and try some other options. Over all a good place to grab some good eats !!!
We went today, and the food was great quality for a low price. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and really good carnitas tacos! Will be returning, hope that they get online ordering established soon!
