The Restaurant at Ponte

Casual, comfortable and low key with top notch food, wine and wait staff. There could be more attention to detail with the seating. For example, I had to turn our table around because whoever set it up put the crossbars where the diner's feet belong. And they could have put a nice flower on the table. Also there seems to be a lot of emphasis on "are you a member." Something along the lines of "Welcome, whoever you are" would have been more inviting, especially when dinner for two with one glass of wine was $100+.

Delicious food and great service. Our water, Jason was very accommodating and provided us with his opinion on the best wine they had to offer. We loved it!

Beautiful setting. Nice tasting room. The outdoor patio restaurant was fabulous. We were there for lunch. It does get very busy so plan on spending some time there. It was a little pricey, but the food was outstanding. The wine was ok, not bad but not great. Definitely would go there again to eat and try more wines. There is a boutique hotel on the property as well that look nice too. Go toward the back of the property in the garden area to take fantastic pictures of the mountain ranges. A couple was taking a tour for an upcoming wedding. It would be a great venue.

This place is amazing. I first lived in Temecula about 10 years ago. We recently went back. The wine and food at Ponte is just as good as it was many years ago. I would say this place makes great wines on the sweet and fruity side which women love. If that's you. Check it out.
