Bluewater Grill

This was an extraordinary evening. The atmosphere, wait staff and especially the food were excellent. The only down side was the wine. Don't get me wrong, the list was better than acceptable, but the wine was served hot. Red should be served at room temp. Room temp is between 49 and 54 degrees farenheit, which is "room temp" in a basement in France. EVERYBODY should know this. Our wine was at 75 degrees. The flavor washes out and the wine goes flat. They are displaying their wine on shelves in the restaurant or open (by the glass) behind the bar. Display the honey instead. Keep the wine under temp.

Incredible visit today, the food was great and hot. My only issue was our seating arrangement, it was very crammed people could barely move. Aside from that I enjoyed everything. I had the marys chicken plate which tasted very good, I would definitely recommend it.

We really liked the Bluewater Grill. The room is upscale but not too fancy. It has a welcoming warmth to it. The service was fine. Friendly and helpful. Plates were cleared fast. No screw ups. That's just fine in my book. As for the food and drinks, the appetizers rocked as did the cocktails. We loved the clam chowder. Where things fell off a touch were the entrees. The fish we had was fine. Served hot and well prepared, but not great on flavor. Usually, this is the kiss of death for a fish place, but everything else was so tasty we vowed to return and give it a second try. This place is solid for dinner, dates and tourists alike.
