Honestly we were expecting a huge wait with how busy they were , my boyfriend & I came in for breakfast , everything was fantastic , the food was fresh, & tasty & the atmosphere was great. I also really liked that they had little games to play on the table while waiting. All the people that helped serve us were great

Penfold's has been around since 1984 confirming they're a local favorite. They serve hearty portions with fast friendly service.

The diner decor is a mix of old toys, neon signs, worn tables, chairs and booths which adds to its quaintness.

On this visit we ordered the "the mess" and a pecan waffle with a side of bacon. We were surprised to get just two slices of bacon based on their usual generous portions and at $4.50 for two slices not a good deal.

Loved Penfold's Cafe!!! Absolutely amazing find. Clean restaurant EXTREMELY Friendly and attentive staff and the food portions are out of this world!! I met clients there and got a really fun dish called "The Mess". It's made eggs, hash browns, onions, spinach, mushrooms, peppers and ground beef all scrambled into one big "Mess" and topped with Jack , Cheddar cheese and salsa. The baked goods though is where it's at! They had quite possibly the largest Cinnamon roll I've ever seen in my life! All so delicious too! So if you're in the Temecula area be sure and give them a try. Very highly recommended!!!

What a nice little restaurant to go for breakfast. Great menu. French toast was good as well as biscuits and gravy. The egg dishes looked very good as they were passing by. And check out the to go display - some of the biggest cinnamon rolls you will ever see. Overall, this is a great place - very friendly and good down home food. You can't go wrong!

This is probably one of my go to places for comfort and delicious food. The pork belly sandwich is so unique and amazing and the chaperones for appetizers are awesome. I have had probably 3/4 of what's on the menu and everything is really really good!! Wait to you see the desert!! What puts this place over the top is the warm sincere service you get from the staff and owners!!
