Carter Estate Winery and Resort

Wow. A truly one of a kind wine tasting experience, all the way through! For starters, as you can see in the photos, the display and consumption of five wines was a luxurious and tranquil experience and made for the ultimate escape from the busy LA lifestyle. We were lucky to get a seat, day of, with only a few hours notice and our expectations were truly exceeded.

Two people in particular we wanted to shout out. First, Michelle the hostess was amazing. She was so elegant and sweet and gave us a great overview of what was to be expected. Truly a sweetheart.

The second was Juan, our host. We love Juan! He walked us through every red and white option, talked about the chemistry and the wine making process of each and gave us his recommendations. We bought 2 bottles of wine and 2 bottles of olive oil as a result!

We are also staying in the estate for the evening and the front desk really looked out for us. Our room overlooks the vineyard and is huge, clean and gorgeous.

We really couldn’t be happier with this experience and have never had a better wine tasting time. Thank you, to all of the amazing employees who have made our stay amazing! Now get on booking this place already as you’ll equally fall in love :)

We stayed here in 2018. It was delightful. Our bungalow was beautifully appointed, in a serene setting & very peaceful. Our hot air balloon ride took off from the backyard of our bungalow and the winery on site was upscale. The pool is small, but very comfortable. The designated parking spot outside your door is wonderful.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was nice because it felt secluded although we weren’t that far away from everything. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and the bathroom. I also liked how the room opened up right to a beautiful view of the vineyard. I think this is a perfect place for couples to stay that are looking to get away and relax.

Attended a Valley Young Professionals Mixer at Carter Estate, and they did not disappoint. Great tastings, informative production tour, friendly staff and just the right size for this event. Sometimes mixers can get a bit crazy and over crowded, but this one was just right! I'll be visiting again for another tasting sooner than later.

Beautiful estate. We enjoyed a wine tasting in comfort in their air conditioned wine tasting room. Choices for seating were outside patio or inside at counter or tables. We sat inside. We sampled their wines and to our surprise we were also given a sample of olive oils. The estate has olive trees in addition to their grape vineyards. We purchased some wines and the olive oil - wasn't planning on it but it was just so good. We would like to visit again and next time stay in one of their cottages. Sadly 2 days later, only 2 of the 4 bottles are left as their wines are exceptionally good. A wonderful experience.
