My first experience with Vietnamese food. My daughter took me for phoa and I had my doubts but let’s try something different. All I have to say is I will return. All I can think about now 😎
I stopped in here awhile back with my fiancée. We came in on a whim and were looking to try something different and hopefully 'authentic' and of a 'chain franchise' feel and taste.
The inside decor is nothing spectacular and feels 'empty' and very spacious. I was hoping for a more Asian ambiance with decor and music to make you feel like your dining in the orient. Oh well, at least there was a tv to watch the news? (Shrug)
But where the ambiance lacked, the food truly made up for it all. My pho bowls came out fast and hot and were all tasty! Really loved the appetizers and the boba tea was excellent!
The service was prompt and on point too. I just recommend to be patient with the servers because I don't think English was their primarily language, which is fine.
I'd recommend coming here for some good pho anytime!!
Summary: Born and raise in the Little Saigon District up in Orange County I do have high expectation when it comes to Vietnamese cuisine, especially Pho. Not to mention I am allergic to Monosodium glutamate so if you put too much, I will feel dizzy with shortness of breath. I've tried a few pho restaurants in Temecula/Murrieta and by far this is the best. They don't try to fusion their dish nor did they ever replace bean sprout with cabbage like this one place in Murrieta.
Foods: Spring rolls (comes in 3) and their Extra large Pho Tho Special
The spring rolls didn't include enough ingredient to add more flavor, it was missing pork legs and mint leaves. Pho on the other hand was decent, briskets and flanks was not chewy, the broth was almost perfect (cardamom and coriander a bit too overwhelming, masking the beefy flavor), and the noodle could be cook a bit longer.
Service: Not too shabby. I mean, if you think the service here is below average you would think twice after a visit to Little Saigon District (Westminster).
Overall: It may not be my top 10 (let alone 20) but comparing to all the other Pho place in Temecula/Murrieta, this place is doable.
