It was our first time at Country Kitchen, and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed my French toast, and my son and sister-in-law enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. I like that they leave a pot of coffee at the table, that way you don't have to flag them down for more coffee (I'm a slow coffee drinker). The gals were friendly too.

Egg white vegetable omelet, fresh fruit, coffee...
The best way to have breakfast after a 5k run!
    So delicious!

We've been waiting for CK to open and finally had a chance to eat there (breakfast this time). I had the ham and cheese omelet and my wife had crepes with cream cheese and whipped cream.

Both were good, though I did find the tiny pieces of diced ham to be amusing. There was enough ham, just the pieces seemed smaller than they should have been.

We also liked how the coffee came in a self serve thermos style pitcher so we could add as much as we wanted, when we wanted.

They also give a discount if you have an AARP card.

First time there. Katelyn was our waitress and provided excellent service. Prices and portions were just right. We shared the barnyard breakfast. Food came piping hot. When is the last time you got that at a restaurant?

Everyone was happy when we left. Possibly the Holidays spirit had something to do, but the food was not half bad. Eggs Benedict were appreciated by the sweetheart who order it, and I will not deny I kept checking it out for a possible rendezvous with that dish in the not so distant future. Lovely Senior, the joy of our lives, had a senior plate that consisted of 2 eggs, ham and cheese omelette with english muffin, plus a never ending cup of hot tea. She ate it like there was no tomorrow, and made the whole table proud, as we have surely noticed this lady can eat her fair share! Young Chris, and yours truly had the Barn Buster, which apparently is a favorite. 4 eggs, 4 bacon or sausage (I had both since my eating habits increase dramatically beating Christmas), 4 pancakes that according to them, are better than most other places. Chose pancakes instead of 4 slices of bread. Must say bacon did not arrive charred, to the point of no return, and sausage links average tasting decently cooked. Coffee was ordered for two, and as I mentioned above hot tea also for myself. Coffee was not impressive, but it sure was plentiful.
People working the place were all extremely nice, and Laura, our lovely server had the gift of gap. Ricardo?, the manager, stopped a few times by the table, eager to let us know we were welcome, and the place at around 1 PM on 12/24 was 30 to 40% full. We would probably return to Wildomar, because we are suckers for nice treatment, let’s just hope it was just the Holidays spirit making everyone in the place be so nice, but also the food and the coupon we had, was not too shabby. Total bill with coupon very close to $50. 4 Stars.
