Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

It had been at least a year, maybe two since I'd been to Red Robin. We waited what seemed like forever for a table (25 minutes after being quoted 15), but once we were seated we had great service from Amber. I left a nice top to show my appreciation. The food was good but not as good as I remembered. I guess when you don't have something for a while you build it up too much in your head with inflated expectations. All in all, a good night out.

Food was very good, service just OK. There was no one at the front door when we walked in. After waiting about three minutes, I walked over to the iPad seating program to see if I could decipher where to sit. Finally, a hostess came running up, like she was busy in the back. I noticed she did this for every single customer who arrived after we sat down. Wonder what she is so busy doing in the back?? Once seated, the server was attentive, although he did not supply us with obvious things that should have already been there, like silverware, salt and pepper, mayo for the dry burger my dad got, and spoons for the thick milkshake we both had.

For a national chain I think R.R. still makes a good product. Sometimes a restaurant brand starts to rely on its name appeal or past reputation and the quality of the food dives. Atmosphere is nice but, I'm here for the taste. R.R. still has it.

We love Red Robin and the unlimited fries are just perfect. This is my daughter's go too for her birthday because they sing and shout. The service here is usually pretty good but if they are busy forget about it. If they are busy the food isn't going to be very good even the fries are cold n soggy.
Grade 5 stars when not too busy and 1 star when busy =3stars.

We had a great waitress. We had 10 people some older fussy ones too. She was pleasant and helpful. One of our meals was late due to being dropped in the kitchen. They comped the meal even though the lady was not nice about her meal being late. The food is always great too. Great manager.
