Benji’s Woodfire Pizza

There were not many people on Saturday evening. We were quickly served and brought our order. The table we sat at was dirty (while we were there, I never saw any of the staff wipe down the other dirty tables). The employee brought the plates in her hand, touching the food area with her fingers. Also, no one offered cutlery (which is actually not that surprising for eating pizza). Their menu does not have any sauces that could complement the taste of the pizza. The pizza we received, although it had a thin crust, was undercooked. The restaurant has an open kitchen, so you can watch the chefs. This place attracted us with its name, but we are unlikely to return

The best pizza in Sacramento. After trying this pizza, I will not buy another one. I advise everyone to try it. Very nice atmosphere...

A very nice upscale pizza place in a typically overlooked area. The restaurant was bright and clean. I ordered a 12 inch Shroomin to dine in. My food was at the table within 10 minutes of my walking in. The pizza was beautiful and smelled delicious. This is a fantastic pizza. It didn't look like it had a lot of cheese, but was sooo cheesy. The white garlic sauce and the truffle glaze over the top were fantastic. The only thing I would have liked was if the linguisa flavor was stronger. The staff was friendly and attentive. The oven sits at 750°f and the pizzas cook for less than 2 minutes. So don't wait too long to go pick up your pizza.

What a great wood fire burning pizza place with a stove delivered straight from Italy! Seriously it tasted authentic from its ingredients to crispy smoked thin crust it was great. We got the garlic chicken and hot honey. Not huge inside but felt warm and inviting. Plenty of outside seating as well. David and Rube helped us out and we’re chill and friendly.

We got the hot honey and meat combo. Wow, the crust is so chewy and not dry. Lovely customer service and overall atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. Also love the owners story.
