Chevys Fresh Mex

One of my top locations for quality Mexican food. Don't fret if it's busy, it is worth the wait. Service is consistently great. The bill was well within reason for the quality.

Husband brought me to eat here yesterday for the first time & let me tell you... The Food portions are huge! The chicken fajita salad is soooo delicious especially when you add steak & shrimp. I highly recommend eating here. The service is amazing. The wait is a little long but it’s worth the wait. The food is freshly made & hot. Thanks for the great dinner chevys ????????

Since it was my birthday and we don't have one in Stockton, I made the drive. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and easily accommodated our large party with no reservations. Will definitely come back again.

Well, I found it to be a little dark. The lighting, I mean hard to see.
Overall the food was fantastic as always, but the service was lacking. It took a long time for us to get our meal, and then when it came to checking out, that took some time as well.
In their defense, they were quite busy, and I will still be going there to eat. GREAT FOOD!!!

The food preparation has declined somewhat lately. On this last visit we shared the Nachos (our usual choice). The platter and portions are smaller than I remember from previous visits. The ingredients could have been more evenly distributed for a more pleasing experience. The refried beans tasted strongly of some herb that I don't recall tasting before at Chevys. They are still my top choice for chips and salsa.
