Excellent experience. Seems to be family owned and operated, which I absolutely love because myself and my beloved wife also run a family business here in Elk Grove (Paw Spa). The service AND food were unmatched. We were thoroughly impressed. I absolutely will return with my family again and will highly recommend this place to friends.
Another amazing evening at Palermo. Something about the family atmosphere makes everything taste a little better and laugh a little more. Call ahead for reservations, they are very accommodating. We added two people are the last minute and they were able to fit us in. Specials are classic and done well, I like the tried and true, can't go wrong with lasagna !
Traditional Itallian/Sicilian fare. Family owned and operated. The lasagna is immense, recommend sharing. I enjoyed the chicken marsala. The minestrone got high marks from our table.
Full bar. Very busy on the Saturday we visited, recommend reservations.
This is an authentic Italian restaurant! The owners are very hospitalable & make you feel welcome. The food is delicious & portions are more than you can ask for. If in the Elk Grove area, this restaurant is a must!
I have been to dinner here twice and I regret that I didn't go to Palermo sooner! The first time, I had their butternut ravioli and it was amazing! The sauce is rich, so I only planned to eat half and save the other half for lunch the next day. My boyfriend had one bite and that was that. No more ravioli for me.
My boyfriend ordered their self-proclaimed best lasagna you have ever had, and it's pretty darn good! The serving was HUGE, too! Seven layers, at least. That definitely went home in a box and was lunch for the next two days.
The second time I ate at Palermo was just as delicious. The server remembered us. The owners were gracious, as always. I honestly don't remember what entrees we ordered, but the homemade soup was great! I was getting over the flu, so the soup was exactly what I needed to feel a little better.
I highly recommend this restaurant! It's a hidden gem, in my opinion!
