Mikuni | Elk Grove

Consistently fantastic with excellent service, a beautiful space, and fabulous food. The food is always prepared perfectly and beautifully like artwork. I have been to this location at least 15 times and every time I have been well pleased with the food and the over all experience. Great atmosphere, Pliney the elder sometimes available. Great variety of sushi including vegetarian option. You simply cannot go wrong going to the best! Highly recommend

Mikuni is a unique sushi experience unlike anything else I've ever tried in California. They do an excellent job blending flavors and have daily specials of fish not found in most other sushi bars. Staff is always friendly too. I live in San Jose and am always happy to have a reason to come through Sac so I can stop here.

I just went back to Mikuni’s in Elk Grove for the 1st time in about 3 months. I had stopped going because the quality had substantially dropped. This visit was different. The quality was back up - to that of the Hazel store. Even though the restaurant was really busy for a Saturday night at 9pm - the quality was good. I will be back. If you want good Japanese Sushi & other dishes, this is the place to go. I've been there many times & have NEVER been disappointed. Like I said, it has Great food & good staff. The location & ample parking spaces are a PLUS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Wow does this place have a large variety of sushi. I was almost overwhelmed with how many items this menu contained. There is definitely something for everyone. I had to get unagi which is my favorite sushi and this didn't disappoint. I also got a spicy tuna roll, hand wrapped scallop roll, and like a taste of the sea roll. The spicy tuna roll was much better than the other one and I highly recommend getting this when you are here! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating, but the service was kind of slow. It took a long time to get our food and find our waiter while we were eating. As I left there was a pretty long wait for a week night so I recommend you get here early. They have a happy hour as well.
