Overall a great addition to Elk Grove. They serve rice noodles. There was plenty of fish in my fish soup - - could have been more generous with the cabbage. The pork bone broth is better than their tomato. They have a special where if you order two mains and a side you get two free iced lemon iced teas.
First time having hot pot style noodles. We had the promo and ordered beef kimchi and beef brisket noodles. Great tasting broths. The sweet lemon tea was very good. Highly recommend.
The rice noodles were hot, steaming, and delicious. The buns and wood ear are also tasty.
In cold freezing weather, I love a hot bowl of soup. My friends and I recently tried out this restaurant. It was an amazing experience. They gave us so many side dishes and you put in the hot soup. It cooks within ten seconds. I guess that's related to the restaurant name “ ten seconds…”
Service was great. The waitress explained to us about the soup and let my friend do basic soup sampling. Most of their broths are pork based. I tried the fish soup. It was delicious.
The place is nice and clean. I loved the fact, we entered the restaurant and they immediately greeted us. We were able to get seats since it was empty.
Nice addition to the Elk Grove Community!
I arrived around 11:45 am with my family (2 adults 1 toddler). There was around a 5 min wait.
Food: I ordered the tomato soup base with beef brisket. The soup base taste like hotpot soup bases that you can get in Asian markets (really flavorful but taste a bit synthetic). The beef briskets are really tender and juicy. The rice noodles are really springy, perfect noodles for soups. Be careful with the bowls as they are really hot. I wish there was more veggies though.
Service: The servers were nice. They really cared about my toddler.
Atmosphere: The place is clean and bright. Sitting might be a bit cramped. Don’t expect the place to be quiet.
Price: Normal for the food size and today’s economy. ($12~18/person)
Overall a great experience. I will come again.
