Divided Sky Tavern

Went there last night for dinner. Quite a few people there, but a little short staffed. Monica was great! She seated us quickly, came back and got our drink orders while we looked at the menu, then came back quickly with our beers. Our food arrived a short time later. We got the cheese burger and French dip. We upgraded one kettle chip to the truffle fries. Next time we will upgrade both! The food was great! Definitely going back again.

For a BRAND NEW restaurant this place is really top notch.

Recently we have found it hard to find places that not only have quality food but also quality service, this spot hits the mark on both of those areas!

You can tell that the owner and staff put a lot of pride in their work.

Our experience was great from the minute we walked in. The women who painted the portraits on the wall did an amazing job. SHE is truly a top level talent

From the warm and soft colors of the furniture to the table place settings, it's almost like you're eating in the owner's house. And that's the level of comfort and warmth you feel throughout your experience

The food is fun and flavorful, while the drink menu is extensive, creative and everything that we tried was very enjoyable.

No doubt we will be back soon.

New restaurants deserve a little accommodation in their initial reviews. They are still getting things dialed. That being said I would still give this crew five stars. Solid menu, unexpectedly good drinks program, responsive staff. Please check this place out and do not be deterred by the location. This place will now be on our circuit for causal, local dining.

My one request is to add a little extra veggie presence in the kids menu. 👍🏽🙏🏽

I’ll start with the great! The corn appetizer was great. And all the other food was good. I will be back to try more!
The only reason the 3 stars is the service. We first sat down and I ordered a drink and my friends ordered water. Then we ordered it all next. We said we wanted to start with the corn dip and ordered food. Everything was brought out all at once. Would have liked to start with the appetizer first. And I think my drink was forgotten. When our food was brought I mentioned I ordered a drink and still had not received it. And I guess since I ordered a drink I was the only one who was not brought water. Which would have been nice since I didn’t get my drink until half way through our visit. I think next time we will sit at the bar. But I’m looking forward to trying it out again.

Divided Sky is absolutely delightful! All of the choices of food we've had are delicious & very generous servings. The entire staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. A great addition to the Carmichael/Fair Oaks/Citrus Heights dining options! Also, the drinks are great! A must try.
