Pronto's New York Pizzeria

Good pizza fair price. Lunch deal is good for the price. Staff is very friendly.

I grew up in the Northeast near Philadelphia. I am used to having my calzones a certain way this is the first place and all of California that reminds me of home. I love this place. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they've memorized my order. Thank you Pronto's!

I'm writing this as someone who grew up in NYC and loves pizza, and evaluating it compared to the genuine article. The cheese and oil taste and mouth feel are PERFECT. The crust could be a bit thicker, the slice didn't feel substantial enough, and it should be about twice as thick on the rim/outside. And our slices had too little tomato sauce. But don't get me wrong, this pizza is very good indeed, these are just suggestions if they want to get it exactly right.

I was hosting a ski bus with 38 people on HWY 50 and after a long day getting thought snowy mountain peaks we needed a satisfying dinner. About an hour before we arrived, I called and ordered 8 pizzas and 8 salads. Pronto pizzeria lived up to its name. Just off the freeway tucked into a strip mall our bus had space to park, we grabbed some great NY style(rich, thin, and flavorful; like New Yorkers) pizza, and we're back on the road Pronto. It was Sunday night, within an hour of closing, and I think it was the owners who were working. It seemed like local small business at it's finest. They made me feel like our business was appreciated, the food good, and welcomed. RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I love coming to this restaurant. Best pizza around! The owner, Rafael, is so friendly and cares about his customers. Whenever we are wanting pizza, we come here.
