If I can’t be in Paris, I’ll just have to get my crepes and pastries here! Really great food and the pastries are literally to die for!! Love the ambiance and super friendly waitstaff.
Honestly, I don't need to tell you what it's like here, these photos will speak for themselves. You think, sure these are pretty, but there's no way they taste as good as they look... Well, they do. They truly do. Go get yourself a treat here ASAP! The crepes are fantastic too. Which ones? Whatever you're in the mood for, there's nothing this place doesn't excel at!
Julia's offers up simple, but utterly delicious breakfast crepes, assorted pastries, along with great coffee. I really enjoy the crepe California. The cinnamon rolls are flaky, light, and the icing is delectable. It's hard to visit and not try something new each time. I try and swing by anytime I'm in Folsom or passing by. A must try if you have a sweet tooth, and are looking for something unique.
Awesome little place. We tried the bakery for the first time because my mom recommended it and raved about it and the treats were very very good. We had macrons, a raspberry cream puff and a chocolate croissant. Delicious! Very soft and delicate and very flavorful. Karen's Bakery is not far down the road which was where I'd usually go but I'm often disappointed with the lack of flavor there and Julian's was far superior. I'd like to give it 5 stars and if I were basing it solely on the food I would but there was a cashier there that was very snarky and rude. It was our first time so we didn't know what we were getting immediately upon entering which clearly annoyed her. She was unnecessarily short and rude with us and I did not appreciate her attitude. So Julian's, 5 star food but minus one star for that jerk cashier
Julian's has the best cinnamon rolls I've ever eaten. The best. I cannot oversell how great these things are. It's essentially a sweeter more cinnamony croissant with a thick layer of cinnamon roll frosting. They're are to die for they have a nice subtle, yet audible crunch too which is satisfying. Recommend eating with milk or coffee though as the sweetness can be too much. Best cinnamon rolls ever.
