The Melt

Winner, Winner, Cheesy dinner!! If you love cheese, this is the place for you. This is a casual, order at the counter restaurant. They have no alcohol and beverages are cans and bottles. Menu items revolve around cheese. This is elevated food that's fast. There is so much to like about this place.

We ordered one bottle of water, grilled cheese sandwich, mac and cheese, tomato soup, swiss and shroom burger, and fries and the bill was only $35.74. Not bad for all of that. The food was delicious. I think the tomato soup was my favorite. The portion is a smaller, single size. The flavor had strong tomato-y and basil flavors that makes dipping the grilled cheese a perfect accompaniment. The mac and cheese (melty mac) was enormous and delicious. As a side dish, the macaroni and cheese could serve 4 people. As a main entree, I think any one person would have leftovers. It comes in an aluminum container for easy re-heating in the oven. My husband thought the well portioned burger was delicious. They also offer vegetarian patty options.

The Melt is a weekday/weekend quick bite that is decently priced. It has good food but it's missing a wow factor.

I had the spicy mission burger and my gf had the BBQ bacon melt burger.

I stopped into The Melt after a relaxing day up in the mountains, hoping to find something that would finish off the day just perfectly. I chose The Melt because I saw a photo of their Mac Daddy sandwich; grilled cheese with macaroni and cheese and bacon in it. I also decided to order the Cheddar Bacon Fries because they looked delicious.

That first bite of fries was like heaven. My taste buds jumped for joy and begged for more! The Mac Daddy was also amazing! It had creamy mac and cheese in it with delicious bacon! I got what I had hoped for - a perfect ending to an amazing day!

Love the vibe of this place! The open concept is really cool. The grilled cheese with bacon was yummy. Their burgers did not disappoint as well. The fountain ginger beer and homemade pickles are my favorite! Overall I really enjoyed this place. The only downside is there is not enough seating inside or outside. I think they should add a couple more tables outside to accommodate the crowds. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been to the new Palladio restaurant twice now, one for takeout lunch and once for dine in dinner. Grilled cheese and tomato soup was a perfect lunch, really tasty and reasonably priced. Steak and cheese sandwich was a lot like a Philly cheesesteak grilled cheese and was very good. Fries were seasoned and hit, milkshake was thick and creamy. Staff has been friendly and efficient. Overall really satisfied with the new dining option at Palladio.
