West Coast Sourdough - Galt

Super disappointing experience.
Walked in at 7:55 totally not aware of the time they closed. Just pulled into town looking for dinner and saw they were open. I was on the phone when I walked in getting an order…. The girl at the counter was so rude she said hello can I help you 2x within seconds as I told her hold on as I walked in.
She then took my order I noticed she was making it on the wrong bread and she huffed and puffed and said well it will take 3 mins to make sourdough…. Ok….
Then we asked to use the restroom she told me they already mopped because they close in 1 minute but if we have to we can use it. SO RUDE
When we walked out of bathroom she rushed handed us our food walked us too the door and had it open waiting for us to leave!!! And to be completely the icing we get home and our sandwiches are wrong. OF course!!! When you are rushed not listening and have zero customer service what do you expect. So sad that this was our experience. We have been here so many times and never had this type of service very disappointing.

The service and food were amazing. Enjoyed the clam chowder in the bowl. My husband had a Turkey sandwich and the bread was so fresh!!!

I had a great experience there. Walked in door seven minutes before closing everyone was so welcoming. They did not rush me at all. My whole family was treated well and the food was delicious. Good job done.

Very friendly service and staff .
Got the #16 Roast beef as an 8" in on sourdough. Cheddar and provolone cheeses added, shredded lettuce and tomato slices, and mustard.

The bread is fabulous! Definitely a great representation of the business name. If you love sourdough, you have to give this a try.
Upgraded to a Soup and drink combo.
The broccoli cheddar soup is hot and fresh, but a little thin.

Soup is available in a bread bowl as well.
Sourdough loaves are sold also.
This sandwich shop is definitely worth a try.
Definitely coming back.

The food here is outstanding. My Go-To choice is the French Dip, however they have a Lobster Roll on the menu (it is seasonal and temporary) but the most delicious lobster roll I have eaten in quite a while. The customer service is excellent and the food comes out hot. The inside is relaxing, Galt really needed a place like this, so thankful to have West Coast Sourdough!
