Pocket Deli

I remember getting lunch at Ike's Deli with my mother when I was in elementary school in Rancho Cordova. She would pull me out of school to play hookie, we would get Ike's then she would drop me back off. After I went away to North Carolina for college in '98 I would dream about that bread. Years later (maybe 2006?) I brought my wife (from East Coast) back to Sacramento and we went to Ike's for old times sake. I am back again this week, but this time with wife and three kids! We drove to the old location but I was heartbroken to see it was no longer there. Quick google search brought me to the bigger and better Pocket Deli! So glad to learn that you guys are continuing the great Ike's tradition with the best bread in the world! I will be back every time I come back to Sac!

They have the best bread! You can even but the bread separately because it's Soo good. Great options for lunch and combos with a side salad to make your meal complete. They offer many different options for sandwiches and salads. Try the haystack salad..... Had corn and chili ????

Amazing sandwiches !! The bread so good , signature touch !!!! Open atmosphere clean restaurant, great vibe good music. "You get a San Francisco pier feeling" This is an upgrade from other delis. I got to say your dollar well spent, great presentation and good taste..

This was my second trip to Pocket Deli. This time I had the Italian Sausage pocket and my coworker had the Taco Pocket. First off the portions are exceptional. Large sandwiches for the price, full of great ingredients. The Italian Sausage pocket is filled with sausage, peppers, and sauce. The thing was overflowing and I needed a dork and knife to eat the beast. It was delicious. The real draw is that I am in deep love with the pocket bread. I really have to get over for a breakfast pocket and then give their Cobb Salad a shot.
