I don't generally like submarine sandwiches. I was treated to a Firehouse sub by my boss. I got the smoked brisket and cheese sandwich. It was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. This will be one of the places I will go when I want to treat myself now.
It was fine. No particular complaints, except that they only had two bread choices - white and wheat. It was normal - your typical sandwich shop. Nothing special. I keep looking for variations to these sub sandwich shops - something to differentiate one from another, and I have not really found anything beyond your basics. They basically all have the same options.
My husband is a fireman, so I appreciate all this place does for all of those in bunker gear. The subs are definitely delicious, just could be each a buck less. I still love this place, and I believe after 4pm, kids eat free with every adult entree!
I would have given it a 5 star but one of the guys working behind the counter came out to bring food to customers and his pants were down below his butt and all I could see was his boxers. That is not very appetizing. Otherwise the gentleman that helped us take our order was a perfect gentleman very helpful and knowledgeable. The place was very clean
Very good subs for a chain restaurant. I like the ordering style with the size of the meal being how large the sandwich is. I do wish there was more options as sides to go with the sand which. As for this particular franchise, it was very clean in the restaurant portion. Staff was friendly but pretty timid. Either the manager or the franchise owner was in when we were eating and it seemed like he ran a pretty tight ship. He definitely keeps the place in line. Only complaint was the bathroom was pretty messy. About halfway between perfect and an outhouse. Overall a good experience.
