The chicken and shrimp basket is fantastic. Everything is so fresh and tasty. I love the greens that just like mamas. And the french fries and mac & cheese are great. I love this place
When I walked in, the hospitality was amazing. They gave me they're best deals, the most popular orders, their recommendations, etc. I ended up buying the sampler and I was immediately shocked at the flavor of the food. The seasoning of the fish and the chicken was perfect, it wasnt dry rather it was juicy. The food was crunchy but not hard to chew at all. There is a lot of food, so you really get your money's worth. I would gladly come back to skips anytime I'm in the area. It will be my first option as a place to eat. They meet all the requirements for an outstanding restaurant.
My co worker hyped this place up for me so much I didn't believe it was this good. I tasted some fries and instantly knew the rest was going to be really good and I was RIGHT! My chicken tenders were so fresh and juicy, the fries were super good, the snapper was on point and I don't even eat fish often at all and it was soooo good! I can't wait until they open a restaurant in South Sacramento, soon I hope.
Excellent foods and service. Does take significantly a bit longer for food to cook, but in the end they are hot and fresh to eat. Will definitely go for this place again some other time. ????
The food tasted fine and the portions were pretty filling. However for the price I did expect amazing and not just fine. The other thing was that everything there seemed to be deep fried or sauteed. I don't know if the kitchen would be capable of non-fried unbreaded versions of the same menu items, but I would go back if they did. As for now, if I want fried, there's some better priced places here in Sac.
