Japanese food and the scene here is excellent. nice place to think about business. looking forward to returning with my friends. this place has a cool atmosphere. wish it was closer to my house, i would come every week.

My son took us there for our birthdays and it was wonderful. We started with oysters,which were served with a ponzu mignonette with a gentle touch of sesame. We had a variety of sushi—all exceptional; tempura, light and with beautiful seasonal vegetables; lamb at the the perfect degree of pink; and marrow, unctuous and my favorite. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. The decor is sparse, but cozy, as contradictory as that sounds. I will go back again...and again.

Recently went to Kru. I did not have a reservation but the hostess treated me wonderfully and sat me as quickly as she could. She was polite and respectful. My waiter looked professional and was very knowledgeable. I enjoy having a server who is very well groomed. I don’t even know how to use chopsticks . He let me know which items I could just eat with my fingers. I needed help with the menu and got his input about the cocktails. He handled all of this professionally. That is, he acted like these were everyday questions he was happy to help me with. My friend and I had a great meal. Impeccable service from other staff too. The food was delicious and very fresh. Pleasant environment. I liked the spacing between tables. Enjoyed seeing the chefs working. I was very impressed by how my waiter helped me choose the best cocktail for me. I ordered the Old fashioned with Japanese bourbon. Primo . If you’re very picky about your cocktail, this is the place to go.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere! I could not give Kru a higher rating. If you are anywhere near Sacramento, make sure you stop here. Reservations are recommended but not required. Don't be in a hurry! I was so excited about the sashimi, I took a bite of the Tuna before I snapped the pic, so don't judge it too harshly.

Amazing experience of dining here and having Japanese cuisine. Great service and place. Staff was friendly and helpful and served you well. Sushi is great and seating arrangement was nice. Environment is nice and I enjoyed the food here. Overall I am happy with my experience of dining here and will be back.
