Caribbean Breeze

The food was great and the chef was very pleasant. The Plantains was outstanding. Just like home.

The food was delicious. Chef Vincent is a master at turning the most basic and simplistic Caribbean dished into mouthwatering works of art. I had red snapper with rice and peas. Totally satisfied. If you are out to eat great tasting food and don't mind a modest ambiance Caribbean Breeze is where I recommend.

Came here for a birthday dinner. Loved the food and excellent service! The owner was so accomodating and even served the cake for us and sang.

So one thing to keep in mind about this place is that you want to get there early if you want your choice of the menu.

This is a small place, and once they are out of something for the day, they're out. That being said, though, I've rarely had such friendly and attentive service at any place I've gone to. The owner is exceedingly nice and helpful. He's from St. Thomas originally and came to Sacramento because his sister told him there were no authentic Caribbean places here.

The plantains are amazing! So was the red snapper and sweet potato pie I had for dessert. All entrees come with plantains and red beans and rice. It's a good portion of food...and so delicious I cleaned my plate.

The decor and building may not much, but what's inside has a whole lot of flavor and personality. Give these guys a try, they're wonderful!

P.S Try the Scotch Bonnet Hot Pepper Sauce. Just the right amount of kick, and not too spicy for those that are sensitive to heat.
