Beer is good! Papaya salad was not to good, Needs more work.. loved the little eggrolls..
Larb was ok. Wings were a bit overcooked. Haven't tried the other foods yet. Will update once I've tried it. Hmong Beer is pretty bomb!!

Unlike many other breweries, this one sort of shares space w/ a restaurant. So really it's more of a restaurant/brewery, but they both have different names, so it was a little confusing for me. But once we got in the place and were helped, we did get to try the beer and it's pretty good. Only 10 bucks to try all 5 options, big pours too. It's definitely not like many other breweries in the area as it's not just full of like hop bombs and stuff. It's all a bit more traditional. But it's definitely worth a try imo.

Where do I even begin? Never have I ever beer to a brewery with such dedication and historical integrity. The beer flight is an intellectual and spiriual journey through the plight of the people in the Vietnam area during the war (1958-1975). The beer follows a chronological and regional tale of both suffering and resilience for the five major groups of Vietnam (Hmong, Lao, Mien, Cambodian, and Vietnamese). For the best experience I would definitely read the descriptions on their website while tasting the flight. The owner Michael and his wife Dara are so friendly and dedicated to their craft. You can feel their passion with every sip of beer and taste of food. This is truly a gem of Sacramento, if not all of California. A truly insightful and humbling experience.

Love the beers and food. Owner is super cool too. I like coming here at night for a larger crowd sometimes, but if you want to enjoy a nice quite lunch with with my family, come before 6pm.
