Kico's Mexican Food

Service was great....beer was crisp. Food was pretty good. A tad to saucy, and sloppy for my liking, the Chile relleno was different but good, and the tamale was decent. The rice was GREAT but the beans were sub par. Food was hot and fresh and comes with home-made flour tortillas, which are actually pretty good.

Went for my husbands birthday. Have to admit,they were not very accommodating. I was a bit disappointed about that.
The margaritas were so-so.
The salsa was gross and it had the texture of 75% water. Blah
The fresh made guacamole was delicious. My husband asked for no pico in the guac...so they had to make it fresh. That was the best part of our 80 dollar dinner.

One of my top spots for Mexican food. certainly a top place in the area. certainly worth a return trip.

The service was quick, too quick, honestly. I appreciate speedy service, but too speedy indicates the food isn't fresh. The chicken in the crispy tacos was dry, and the beans and rice were okay. I loved the homemade flour tortillas.

My favorite dish there is their Chile Colorado. The beef is so tender & the sauce is great. I always order extra rice instead of beans & then I mix it all up. Very generous portions. I wind up in pain from over eating because it taste so good! Their homemade salsa scores a 10 as well. You really need stop by & have lunch or dinner. You won't regret it!
