Szechuan Spicy House

When they say numbing, it's not from the spiciness but the Szechuan peppercorn. We started eating and began noticing our tongues going slightly numb. Service was a bit slow but all the dishes came out quickly. Our tea was regularly refilled but my brother had to get up and request for water refills.

Sichuan food and the feeling here is above par. I love snacking here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Prices are appropriate.

I really like the spicy food, but I understand it is not be authentic Szechuan taste. However, for people can’t tolerate really spicy food (like me), but also want to taste Szechuan flavor (b/c its so special), I highly recommend. My dad said that authentic Szechuan spicy was really spicy and also numb your tongue. For this Szechuan Resturant, they can make the food really really spicy (again for me) or mild spicy, but the food lack the tough numbing part. Anyway, I have visited this resturant for more than four years without any disappointments.
