Cricket Country Kitchen

Their ultimate comfort food never disappoints me. I had the Cricket Breakfast which was far more than I needed for one meal, but I'm happy to take home the leftovers. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. This is a great "Ma and Pa style" family restaurant. The decor is eclectic vintage and always fun to discover. Saturday before Mother's Day was especially busy, but the wait time was only 5-10 minutes. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch...anytime!

My husband recently took us here for breakfast. I thought that the food and prices were great. They have an odd, eclectic collection of item inside that are fun to look at. The Teddy Bear pancakes are adorable!

Wait times were acceptable. Staff was friendly and courteous. Food was quick to come out, good portion sizes and very tasty. The atmosphere was charming. I love these types of diners. Thank you!

Wow is all I can say coming from the southern Illinois I have yet to taste home cooking. Well this place made my heart smile. Fast service, nice waitress and damn good food. It's definitely a hidden gem.

This is a quaint little breakfast/lunch joint. This place is a diamond in the rough. Service is always great. Food comes out so fast, even when they are busy. Everything I have ordered here has been satisfying and delicious. The prices are more than say a Denny's but worth it in my opinion. I ordered a sausage patty breakfast that came with eggs, country potatoes and one pancake on this occasion and was highly satisfied.
