Been to a lot of Chinese restaurants around this area and this is by far the best place around.

This place ranks in the bottom 3 worst Chinese restaurants I've ever tried, anywhere, which is a shame because it has a lovely ambience. This is the first local restaurant we ordered carry out Chinese from since we just moved from the Chicago area and it was such a disappointment. I asked for the general's chicken to be made with extra chili peppers and it tasted like the were none. The was WAY too much sauce, but no white rice to help soak some of it up. We couldn't finish the last quarter of the order of the chicken was basically floating in the overly sweet sauce, making it unpalatable. The vegetable lo mein was unlike any lo mein I've ever tried. The noodles were substantially thicker than a typical lo mein noodle, and over cooked and mushy. It tasted more like fat Thai noodles. Again, entirely too much sauce that was more like a gravy. The "veggies" (mostly just celery) were not chopped much and undercooked, to the point that my daughter thought it was a salad when I opened the container. The pork eggrolls were more like flavorless springrolls. There was no pork to be found, only what looked like cabbage...and again, the cabbage was not chopped well and was undercooked (though, if they'd have been cooked any longer, the wrapper would have been overcooked. There was no one in the dining room, so the cooks had more than enough time to have prepared the meal. I feel so let down.

Surprised me. I have a Lee's Chinese in my home town and we found this place and was so yummy. Don't let the inside fool you the food is good. Get a lunch special. Good serving sizes

Came here about 30 minutes before closing one night with a friend- The lady up front let us know but was very kind about it. We decided quickly so that we wouldn't be too much of a bother though. The food came out pretty quickly too, and it was bigger than we expected. We got beef chow mein and chicken of some sort. All very good, and reasonably priced too! My friend got a nosebleed though, and even though we were there right before closing, the lady who helped us earlier brought him more water and some extra paper towels- She seemed to hardly be troubled by us. We eventually finished before they locked their doors though, but didn't feel rushed at all. Great service and great food and a very nice price, would recommend!
