Fast service, great food, and the best tartar sauce around.

Cape Code Fish and Chips is my go-to place in the Sacramento region for consistently great food. The owners are friendly and the service is quick.

The fish always tastes fresh (and the portions are large) - always served with piping hot fries that haven't been sitting around in a bin. The house-made tartar sauce and spicy sauce are always necessary to make the meal complete (and I'd love to take home a bottle it's that good).

The feel of the restaurant is "hole in the wall" - but the best places usually are. The booths and tables are old school and the decor isn't up to date, but who cares. It's about great food and I've never had a bad meal there.

They also offer it to-go, but it's worth your time to sit down, relax, and enjoy the whole experience in the place.

The parking lot is shared by many other establishments, including an ATM machine - so if it's busy you may have to find street parking.

This fish and chips restaurant is the best. Fish is definitely fresh and big portions!

seafood at this location - excellent. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. This place has a cool feel to it.
