California Burrito Mexican Food #5

I've probably been here 5 times in the last 2 weeks (no exaggeration). If you're vegetarian I recommend the vegetarian burrito but add guacamole and potatoes to it! If you're a meat eater get the California burrito, of course.

I looooove this place. You get free tortilla chips, freshly made, and 5 kinds of salsas and pickled carrots and jalapenos while you wait. You serve yourself. I usually get a carne asada burrito and its ALWAYS delicious. Their selection is very diverse as youd expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant and they also will make you a freshly squeezed or blended fruit or vegetable drink. There's plenty of tables to sit at and you seat yourself. I've never had trouble parking and the prices are reasonable.

This is just a basic Mexican restaurant that has really good recipes. The decor consists of some Mexican themed art on the wall of an old Dairy Queen and the location is the far corner of an old strip mall with multiple vacancies. But the food is good.

I don’t usually go to Mexican restaurants. Reason why is my mom Mexican so I get the bomb food from her. So when I do go out for Mexican food it’s only for carne asada fries. The fries always hit the spot and the customer service is really good. They didn’t give me something I had ordered and still charged me for it so I had to call them. They were still able to refund a meal. Not a lot of places do that.

Surprisingly authentic for a chain restaurant and the waiter staff is friendly and helpful. Get all the fresh chips you want and the salsa bar is second to none with spicy hot as well as mild salsa for the more timid. Served quickly but with attention to every detail to please even the most discriminating Mexican food lovers.
