I enjoyed everything about dining here. Our server was excellent and warm. She provided great recommendations. We ordered the handmade pasta, wild Alaskan halibut, tuna tartare and toffee pudding. Everything was beyond delicious, so much so that I left there with a food baby because it was hard to stop. The Chenin blanc Viognier was a wonderful light wine. I look forward to coming back.
Steak tartare was real nice. Had a bit of spice and the beef was ground well. The ambiance was good, we sat at a high top at the bar. We had 3 different people helping us so it was a bit weird on the service. At times we were left alone for a long period of time. Overall it was a good experience.
Having been here multiple times tonight wasn’t as good. Starters, tuna tartare and cheese plate were excellent as were the complimentary “Yorkshire puddings” that are served as bread. Mains were a big let down. Both our salmon and sea bass were overcooked, sea bass portion was small, lacked any real flavor profile and lacked the gnocchi and scallops that we were supposed to come with it. Service was solid but we were reminded several times that there was an event in the golden one center so we had to finish our meals in a center time, once is understandable, several times takes away from the experience
We had an amazing dining experience. The food was beyond delicious with many options including gluten free appetizers and entrees. The staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable. Must visit.
Came here with a friend during happy hour. We sat at the bar and ordered the salt cod fritters, sausage rolls and the house farmer’s cheese along with some drinks. The salt cod fritters were excellent. The sausage rolls and farmer’s cheese were both good. I preferred the house red wine over the Daisy cocktail. Overall, this is nice place, with nice decor.
