Delicious pastor!
Feel im being unfair give it was first time, i pulled up thinking it was the same people on Marysville blvd, they arent.
Now the taquero on the pastor is probably the best ive seen in town. He lets the meat cook on the gyro and cuts the pastor thin as it ought to.
Tacos are decently sized and portion wise, taste is around 4 on any other meat. Pastor is 5 plus.
Now service is ... slow. The other 2 persons werent too helpful to the taquero to speed up the process. Iknow they havent been around for long but a few months should be long enough to organize their show.
Stick with the tacos. It will let them dispatch faster anything else takes time out their dispatch time. Not our fault... but that was something i told them.
Edit : at stockton blvd. They still work on a per order basis, which is super slow, they need to work at least do 3 orders at a time when they have 5 or more orders on the board. Taste is still good as before.
Wonderful little taco shop with a friendly family! Lots of fresh food and a rotating meat cooker. You won’t be disappointed when you stop by lots of parking and everything smells delicious.
Best TJ style Al Pastor tacos. They know how to cut the meat, I've been waiting for this to come to Sac.
easily some of the best al pastor tacos I have had outside of Mexico, They were so awesome! We ended up with carne asada, chicken, and al pastor, they were all really good, great flavor. I smashed about 17 tacos away in about 15 mins, They were so good that I was tempted to turn around and get more when we were on our way back home. I will be for sure coming back and getting more. this is my new street taco spot!
