Jimboy's Tacos

A quick bite - tasty carnitas tacos, bean and cheese burrito. Small interior quite compact. Fortunately there is tables outside. Staff and cook very friendly.

Would absolutely recommend visiting this place. Exceptional vibes, delicious dishes, great service. I recommend this place.

I was eager to try this new location, and surprised it was a lot better than I expected. I was a huge fan of the midtown location, but now that it’s closed I’m glad to at least have an alternative.

Let’s start with the bad...yes, it is really small without much seating, but there’s a cozy plaza/courtyard nearby with nice tables, chairs and umbrellas. Also, since there’s no logical place to wait for your food, it’s really confusing for people coming in to order. I don’t even know how many people asked me “are you in line?” I felt like I was in the way the entire time. Maybe they need some traffic control, lol.

Now for the good...the food is tasty and still affordable. I was expecting a DOCO mark up, but nope. Also, they validate parking for up to 90 minutes. This gave me enough time to sit and enjoy the courtyard while an acoustic musician played outdoors. A nice touch for a Friday solo lunch! When I was leaving, the lunch rush was just getting underway, so it seems like it’s going to be a popular gathering place. Looking forward to visiting again!
