My friends & I had the best time dining privately at Junoon. The food was great and the manager Roy was a wonderful host. As Indians ourselves, we will definitely be coming back, and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for tasty Indian food and excellent service. Thank you!
Delicious - best Indian we have found in the USA in 2 years!! (From Australia originally). Lamb was so tender and sauces are thick and so tasty. Very mild spice. Lovely staff and proprietor. Highly recommend
Delicious!! Great food; very flavorful, aromatic (you can really taste and smell the cardamom, saffron, turmeric etc), and savory! This place is only about 3 months new but wow, what an excellent menu selection! The food really does taste homemade. The building is somewhat small with limited seating but the service is absolutely wonderful and very personable. There is plenty of parking around back and on adjacent streets. We truly enjoyed the whole experience and highly recommend!
My favorite Indian restaurant in the Sacramento Area. I moved from England. England has amazing Indian food, especially in my home city (Bradford!). Most Indian restaurants tend to do more of a South Indian cuisine but this place is North Indian and is much closer to the food you get in a good English Indian restaurant. Best ever Indian food. Exact Indian taste
I have been anticipating the opening of an Indian restaurant in the East Sac area for years, and while I was sad to see Cielito Lindo go, I was excited to hear we were getting a new cuisine in our area.
I popped over a couple of weeks after they opened and was impressed with how quickly my food was ready and packed to go.
They were super busy with taking orders and working out opening kinks, so it was a little chaotic to order and check out but I don't hold that against them. The fact that they opened in a pandemic and they have been able to meet the demands of the area are impressive.
But the food is why this place will do well.
I ordered samosas (hot and flavorful). the saag paneer, the chicken mukhani, lentils and garlic naan.
Everything was flavorful and fresh. The garlic naan was amazing! I loved the saag as it had a little kick to it.
Portions were generous and their basmati rice that accompanied the entrees was some of the best I have ever had. Their rice had great spice to it even though it is their "plain" rice.
I am thrilled to have them here and look forward to many years of delicious Indian food in East Sac.
