High quality ingredients with the right amount of season that felt like it didn't need additional soy sauce. The rolls were very delicious. Highly recommend the A5 wagyu.
Honestly I was going to give four star until I opened the chicken teriyaki to go, it was plain, no sauce or favors at all. When we dine in, five star for her excellent customer service, she was really nice and friendly. But for the food was three stars. Pork belly fries is a little bit too salty, salmon and albacore and spicy tuna hand roll was normal, creamy scallops was good and so as the uni, uni was fresh, no wired taste. Salmon bowl was good. Won’t recommend this location but if you want to try it it’s okay.
I would recommend the Unagi Donburi. It was actually really good and one of the best ones I've had. Has a great crisp and the portion is actually sizable.
The handrolls are fine, but I didn't find them super special (mainly, the presentation was lacking as I expected it to be individually brought out instead of together in plates). For the price point, it didn't feel like it was a $7 handroll. Pork belly fries are also okay, but not super special.
It's a pretty small place so recommend smaller groups of people (2-4). Wish there were more drink options, maybe cocktails.
Yummmmm. First time here we sat at the bar and tried just about everything. Very good and tasty. A little on the pricey side, but a must try. Great service and friendly staff.
This is my second visit to Kinjo and everything has been great across the board! The staff is really kind and down to earth, they also accommodate my dog and set up a table out front for us which is always a plus to be dog friendly. The place is still really new and I believe working out additional outdoor seating, but it's quite cozy. I've only tried their hand roll sets but absolutely love them! Solid addition to the Sac food scene 🔥
