This is definitely a spot to check out. They have some unique offerings that you can’t find anywhere else in the area.
They operate out of a window next to one of the best mochi shops in state. Staff is friendly and service is pretty quick.
The katsu sandwich here is phenomenal. Really love the balance of textures and flavors.
Delicious sandwiches and fabulous service!! We had the chicken katsu and egg salad sandwiches, plus their black sesame cookies. Everything was beautifully made, fresh, and richly decadent!! It's easy to pre-order online and pick up at the window. The staff are super friendly. A must stop in Sac!!!
This is an amazing sando spot you have to try!!
The egg salad sando is so much better than a typical one. It has more umami.
The Cluckin’ katsu sando omg the best Katsu sando so far!! It has great textures. The chicken is tender and you get a really big piece! It has more depth of flavor with the egg salad and veggies. So good!
Stuff are so friendly and helpful. I also got to talk to the chef which is so cool. From that I learned Mecha Mucho which means the same thing in Japanese and Spanish, and it’s a reflection on the chef’s unique heritage.
They are looking for a permanent location as this current location next to Osaka Ya is a pop up. I can’t wait for the update!
A shoutout to excellent service and a great mouthwatering combination of flavors! I enjoyed both the Cluckin’ Katsu Sando and Spam Musu Mi Sando! It was an amazing fusion of both eastern and western flavors! Take out only.
In a nutshell; Pretty good sandwiches, just a bit of hassle to get them though.
They're still relatively busy (at this time of this review) so they seem to always have ran out of their chicken or spam sandwiches whenever I get to them. I had to pre-order a day early just to get the sandwiches I wanted. Still , the sandwich/es were great, the employee who handed it to me was awesome, there wasn't a line at the time I picked up my order so that's a plus, and I was able to find parking nearby which tends to be difficult in most downtown sac. Establishments. Overall if only the ease of access was any easier it's be an absolute visit for me each time but the difficulties makes it just a more occasional venture.
