Pupuseria La Familiar

I recently visited Pupuseria La Familiar in Sacramento, CA and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, and the standout dish for me was definitely the veggie burrito with mole sauce.

The mole sauce was simply incredible – rich, complex, and bursting with flavor. It perfectly complemented the fresh veggies and hearty beans in the burrito, creating a mouthwatering combination that I couldn't get enough of. It's clear that the chefs at Pupuseria La Familiar really know what they're doing when it comes to creating amazing flavor combinations.

But it wasn't just the food that made my visit so enjoyable – the atmosphere was also warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in the door.

The Caldo de Res was so good here. I mean really worth getting. There are only 3 places that make decent pupusas in the Sacramento area and now I’ve found #4. Their pupusas are BOMB! The Agua Pepino was so refreshing. I was very pleasantly surprised how good everything was. And the service was so friendly and hospitable.

I’m actually not a big fan of Pupusas but these were really really good. Very delicious.
My wife & I usually go to a place on Stockton Blvd which is quite good. Mostly El Savadorian food.
But this was our first time coming here and we are both extremely happy that we did. My wife is from Honduras and she really liked the place as well.
They were so accommodating. Our 5 year old is a little picky. They made her plain scrambled eggs & bacon & a hot dog.

Pupusas here we’re 🔥🔥🔥. Been looking for a good spot in Sacramento and this is it! They also serve Mexican food! The taco meat is super tender and great taste. The menudo is also 🔥🔥🔥

Family own dinner business, the food is very delicious. I had the 7 Mares Seafood soup, you have to try to it. Add lime and Chile and your good to go! Also try their pupusas really tasty 😋
